GracePoint is a growing community of believers and seekers who are trying to engage our valley by promoting the message of Christ. We are a body of believers committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ. As a Nazarene Church, we join with likeminded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world.

A lot of people wonder, "What is the world is a Nazarene?" We know, the name may sound a little unusual. But, it's really very simple. Jesus was from a town called Nazareth. People from that town were called Nazarenes. Therefore, the Church of the Nazarene. There's no mystery... no cult status! Just a group of people who worship the Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus, the Nazarene.

We Believe . . .

• In one God - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
• In the divine inspiration of the Bible.
• That man is born in sin and cannot save himself.
• Jesus Christ has made a way for the entire human race and whoever repents, confesses their sin and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved. Those that remain in Christ will be with God forever in heaven.
• God's people are to be entirely sanctified or filled with His Spirit, totally abandoned to God's will, and this comes through faith.
• The Holy Spirit bears witness to the born-again life and the Spirit-filled life.
• Those who refuse to repent will be eternally lost.
• In the return of our Lord, in the resurrection of the dead and in final judgment.
• That believers need to be baptized.
• The Lord's Supper (communion) was instituted by Christ and only born-again believers should participate.
• The only means for support of the church shall be the giving of tithes and offerings.
• In divine healing, but never to the exclusion of medical professionals.
• The community of Christian believers is the Church, realizing that we live out the commands of God toward one another in the context of the local church which empowers us to love our world as Christ would have us love.
